It is always very difficult to make a decision on a holster when they are not cheap and everybody has their unique style. Furthermore when you can’t test it before you buy it makes it even more difficult. After a few hours of searching online one holster manufacturer after another somehow I discovered Black arch holster company and I’m glad that I did. After reading numerous reviews with high marks and good photos of what appeared to be quality stitching nice leather and professionally molded shells that had adjustable retention and a 30 day return option I ordered mine. I read review after review of other people saying just get it and you won’t regret it. So after two weeks now of wearing mine while on duty in civilian clothes, out with the family, taking walks, I have nothing but good things to say about its comfort conceal ability and craftsmanship. I’m not a small guy 265 pounds so I’m not chiseled and never wanted to appendix carry, and the Protos M 2.0 has checked all the boxes. I had an old alien gear modular holster set up and it was very uncomfortable so I was concerned a little bit with a similar footprint which the Protos M as it’s a little similar in design concept. But this holster is comfortable! Totally surprised by how comfortable it is when it’s in inside my waistband and everybody who’s ever carried inside the waistband knows how uncomfortable a weapon can be which usually results in you not carrying your gun off duty or with your family because it’s just inconvenient you leave it in your car or at home. Being in law-enforcement and being out with my family these days and now having this holster makes it where I don’t have a problem carrying every day whether in shorts pants or wherever and actually forget that I have a gun on the side of my hip that is a micro compact pistol with 18 rounds! Great job Black arch holster keep it up… I am already looking at buying an outside the waist band holster in the future from these guys!!! I have no doubt after seeing the quality stitching of the leather used on this that’ll last me many many years to come. I only do reviews after I’ve used the product long enough to have an accurate opinion of the item and I really like this holster. The problem I have been having is finding an IWB magazine holder for a 17-rd ds 9mm. The ones I have purchased from others were too short and the magazine would flop over. BlackArch makes the correct size for these taller magazines. Thank you BlackArch!

I’ve owned dozens of holsters. This one is near the top of the list. I’ll have to see after a year or so.

I typically carry at the 12-1 o'clock position and know that this holster is designed for 3-4 o'clock. It is super comfortable and concealable no matter where I wear it! It is also comfortable enough to wear all day with ease. I let my son try it and he fell in love instantly and is about to buy one himself. I bought a blem version and could not find any blemishes at all. I also bought the Ulti-clip 3's with it. They work great but do not feel great on the skin. I re-installed the original clips for now and plan to purchase a slightly sturdier version. I have tried multiple other brand holsters and they were either comfortable and didn't conceal well (without spending more $ for claws and wedges), or they concealed well and were not comfortable. Black Arch is both! Highly recommended!

The most comfortable holster I've ever owned and I have a drawer full of ones that pale in comparison. It is the epitomy of the peferct holster 10/10. I'd give an 11/10 if there were light bearing options.

Have tried dual clip, single clip, hybrids from other brands and all sorts of holsters. Had a few good ones with trade offs here and there, some times meaning changing clips or making some changes with a heat gun. But this was great right out of the gate. Put it on, adjusted ride height and cant and it's good to go. Super comfortable and secure feeling. Love the design of the kydex providing full coverage of the trigger guard area. Read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing and didnt see anybody mention fitment with a metal frame M&P which was important to me since my last holster didn't like the slight variation where the rail section of the frame ended near the trigger guard and needed some heat gun attention. But I took the chance and it paid off. So if anybody has ran into that issue as well rest assured this will work for you. Black Arch will now be my go to place for holsters in the future.

This is my first th holster from black arch. I believe they are the most comfortable I have tried.
