Love this holster, very comfortable and spreads the weight of my p01 across my belt. Makes carrying a compact no problem at all. If it wasn’t for this holster I would be AIWB only
I received my holster last week and I've been using it everyday since. It is the most comfortable holster I've worn and I've been carrying daily for over 20 years. I've used all leather, kydex, boltaron, leather backed boltaron and a plethora of others but this holster from Black Arch Holsters is amazing. It took a bit of adjusting of the belt clips to get it where I liked it and now it's so comfortable that I sometimes have to check to make sure that I'm carrying because it carries so well. I'm using it with a very study gun belt from Kore Essentials and it's a great system. I'm very happy that I decided to get this holster and with how quickly Black Arch Holsters got it ready and shipped to me. A truly great holster from a truly great company. If you're reading these reviews, stop reading and make the purchase already. You won't regret it.
I'm a slimmer guy, and the small kydex shell and flexible backing make carrying my P30SK strongside possible. Most competitors have kydex above the sight channel and below the trigger guard to attach it to the backing. This makes the holster too wide for me and either creates a big gap between my back and belt. It also causes the holster to shift further back from where I put it. Black Arch (and one other company) remove the extra kydex below the trigger guard making it slimmer and carry better for slimmer people. I've actually been waiting for them to make a holster for my P30SK (I use the P30 length holster for my SK). I'm so glad they did. The only thing I would like changed is tightness of the retention. Even with the retention screw all the way out, I found the retention to be too tight. I replaced the rubber washer with a slightly longer one at the screw so I could have a better range of adjustment. Other than that, it's a great holster and I would purchase more in the future. I already have three Heritage models.
I haven't worn the one for my Hellcat Pro, but I liked the one for my Hellcat, so I bought one for my Hellcat Pro and P30SK (using the P30 length holster).
Comfort comfort comfort. I dont even notice i have it on me.
I have never been a fan of hybrid holsters. Usually they are just 1/2 Kydex with a leather back. What makes this holster different is that it is actually more of a 3/4 Kydex. You still get that solid “click” when holstering with the added comfort of a leather backing. It conceals great, super comfy, and is now my EDC holster.
I strongly recommend it.
I love this holster. One thing to note is that this was designed for 3-5 o'clock carry. It may work in other positions such as appendix, but you will have the best luck using this holster at your 3-5 position (7-9 for lefties). I made some adjustments to ride height and cant and after making those adjustments this holster works perfectly for me. The biggest selling point here is the comfort. This is the most comfortable IWB holster I've used. Hybrid holsters will almost always print a little more than regular kydex holsters because of the lack of rigidty between the clips/leather and kydex shell. The clip will not act as a claw and pull the grip of your firearm into your body, but with some extra cant this is almost a non-issue. The retention is also adjustable and plenty strong. I have very few complaints. One improvement I could see being beneficial would be to attach the grip-side of the leather backer to the kydex shell, which would help pull the grip in towards your body more. Even with that small issue, I've had no issues with concealment or access to the firearm. This may be a bit more expensive than what people expect to pay, but it's definitely worth the extra money. I have no regrets and would definitely buy one again for other pistol models.
Great holster I love it works very well and comfortable. Fits The gun and magazine perfectly would definitely recommend and would buy again.
