So far so good: Update

Just to update my earlier review of the Protos Heritage for my Hellcat Pro. I can wholeheartedly endorse the Protos Heritage now around 6 months in. I’ve worn this set up a lot more since my last review including some 14-16 hour days, days doing yard work, other work “crawling” around and some other awkward positions. This set up is very comfortable and I believe as close to “forgot it was there” level comfort, accompanied by solid peace of mind level retention. My only recommendation would be to go with the dcc mod 4 clips if you’re going to upgrade over the polymer clips (I can’t say anything for the poly clips as I haven’t used them) as I had the high ride clip let go of my belt one day. I have, and love, the dcc mod 4 clips on my heritage (yes I like it well enough I ordered another) that I picked up for my Glock 19x, that holster is also quite comfortable and concealable for a much larger gun, at least on my large frame. All in all I couldn’t be happier with the decision I made in ordering these holsters, and will definitely be back. P.S. if the could find a way to make these light compatible would be pretty sweet and might force me to buy a or 7 sub, wink wink nudge nudge.

Fantastic Holster

I love this holster. It is comfortable and has full retention with kydex on both sides of the trigger guard, fully enclosed. It is light weight, has a pretty low profile and definitely sturdy. The holes actually do seem to help with breathability. One thing I would love to see Black Arch improve is to extend the stiffener to the complete edge of the leather so the edge doesn't fold over. However, that is a minor so I still give an overall 5 stars.

comfort at last

I'm like most fokes on here that have several pistols and lots of holsters. I have the Protos Heritage for Shadow Systems both IWB and OWB, of course the OWB is more comfortable but in summer months with shorts and t-shirt IWB is the way to go. This holter is the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever worn, easily adjustable, built to last, great quality all around. The lining next to your body is another big Plus +++. I highly recomend this product. Thanks for producing quality and lasting products. This wasn't my first purchase as mentioned and won't be my last.

Great holster — super slim, very comfortable, and conceals incredibly well.
