The IWB Protos-M® is compatible with our entire line of Protos-M® Backers, with a few simple screws you can move the shell from one backer to another, allowing your carry method to change as your needs change.
Each Protos-M® shell and Dri-Matrix ™ 2.0 backer is custom designed for your particular handgun. This ensures proper coverage of your handgun without increasing its size. Our leading competitor’s holster is over 53% larger than the Protos-M®.

Protos-M 2.0

Our flagship holster, the Protos-M, is the result of countless hours of design, prototyping and testing resulting in the best hybrid holster on the market today. Our patented ¾ hybrid shell gives the perfect blend of adjustable, repeatable and safe retention usually reserved for full Kydex holsters. With Kydex wrapping the trigger guard you never have to worry about the backer collapsing in on itself, making it safer than traditional hybrids.

This is the most comfortable holster I own. I even able to tuck dress shorts and make firearm completely invisible. The backing is soft and makes you forget you are carrying. I can't recommend it enough. I have owned similar offerings from other companies and Black Arch is hands down the most comfortable.

I can’t say enough good things about this holster. This is my 2nd one. Comfortable all day long in any situation. Fit, finish, and function are top notch! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Honestly, this is the holster I've been looking for my entire carry life. I've tried to many over the years that have come close to what I'm looking for, but this just hits all the right features and comforts for me. Was referred to this site by someone at T-Rex when I asked them if they were planning to add the PX4 Compact to their holster line. Very happy that I've found this now.
