The Single Clip Protos-M® is numbered among the smallest hybrid holsters in the industry. Each holster is custom designed for your particular handgun, which reduces bulk and increases comfort. You will find that our adjustable retention and flared mouth ensure safe and quick access to your handgun. Due to its compact size and single easy-on click this holster can be worn anywhere on the belt line, from traditional strong side carry to appendix.

The IWB Protos-M® is compatible with our entire line of Protos-M® Backers, with a few simple screws you can move the Kydex shell from one backer to another, allowing your carry method to change as your needs change.

Our single clip Protos-M® now features a mesh backed, leather backer for added comfort, but please note this is not the same as our Dri-Matrix™ breathable backer. In order to protect your pistol from moisture damage, we never allow for any ventilation directly underneath the pistol or the plastic shell. Since the backer on our single clip holster is so small, there was nowhere to vent that wasn’t directly underneath the gun or plastic shell.

I am also the owner of a BA - BlackArch dual clip IWB Protos for a Glock 22 gen 3 and will say it is the most comfortable holster worn.

So when my wife got her Springfield Hellcat Pro... of course checked with BA... got one ordered my wife tried it and was sold... comfort (I told her ! haha) the ulti clip provides the security with whatever she wears.

Now I'm just waiting on Black Arch to make the single clip IWB Protos - M for my newly purchased Canik mete MC9 ... if you got one send BA a request to get them in production !

Seriously, these holsters are really really nice... as big as my Glock 22 (not quite as big as a 1911... but full size close enough) carrying IWB at 3:30-4:30 it is so comfy I just don't feel it there.

This is the third single clip protos M Ive owned. Yes they are pricey but worth every penny. Unmatched comfort and unmatched quality!

I love the holster! There was a snafu in the original order (my fault) and the guys took great care of me. Accepted an exchange, no questions asked. Great company, great product, amazing customer service!

This is my second Black Arch holster, and both are quality products - good design (really like the 3/4 Kydex), good materials, and good craftsmanship. Even when the thermometer hits 98 degrees and the humidity is high it's comfortable (well, as comfortable as anything can be in extreme heat and humidity). Customer service was quick, professional, and helpful when I had a question. Over the years I've discovered quality products generally come from quality companies - another way of saying my next holsters will be Black Arch ones. I just wish they had holsters to fit a wider variety of models.

The single clip Protos M is my go to carry holster. I own multiple and love them for their comfort, I can wear it all day regardless of the heat. I am a heavy sweater and prefer the Black Arch over straight kydex or other hybrid types. If you're nutritionally abundant like me and carry appendix, you should really give this holster type a try. Aside from the backer, I really like that the trigger guard is fully wrapped by the kydex.
